I am but an instrument of Your will, a coarse clay for You to till, an empty vessel for You to fill. My God! have mercy and let me be still.

Amazing is the plight of this estranged Soul. Grasping about blindly in search of a goal, yet never quite sure of its true role. Ever struggling to make sense of a fragmented whole. Occasionally it may stumble on something Divine, but not always certain if its a true sign. Baffled and dazed in anxiety and doubt. My divinity and humanity, what are you all about? When all else fails, I give in and go within. When I am about to drown, I stop struggling —but by some odd miracle, I find myself afloat! Herein lies the answer to my plight.

Life is a lesson about sweet surrender. As a helpless babe, myself to You I render. Of all my pain and pleasure You alone are the sender, Yet You alone are my One True Defender. If it wasn't for the pain would I stop to think? If it wasn't for the darkness, would I search for the light? If it wasn't for my weakness, would I look to Your might? If it wasn't for You, would I have any insight?

I conclude : All this is for Your delight. J.K.D.
