When You give me Wings...

The road ahead is clearer and more beautiful than ever before. The Path that leads to you seems within reach and I sense your fragrance in the air. The Path is so inviting but my feet cannot move an inch. They seem to be stuck in clods of mud I cannot take a single step!

At times I experience the parallax effect. I sense a momentary motion in Your direction. In reality I am standing still. Others seem to be moving towards You, while I remain stagnant- unable to take a single step.

Through your grace, one day soon I shall begin to move on this journey at a faster pace. The road is long and I do not know what to expect along the way. If the journey becomes difficult and I stall, I shall remember not to despair, for Your Grace will then bestow wings upon my back and I shall fly with ease in your direction.

In the mean time I shall remain mindful of 'Your presence in these clods of mud. When you give me wings, I shall fly to You….When you give me wings, I shall fly to You...
