Today while I can, let me hold on to You.

Today while my heart is free from grief, let me rejoice in You.

Today while I have health, let me dedicate it to You.

Today while my eyesight is good, let me read Your Scriptures.

Today while my voice has strength, let me sing Your Name.

Today while my hearing is sound, let me listen to Your praise.

Today while I have vitality in my limbs, let them walk Your way.

Today while I am in awe, grant me a glimpse of You.

Today while I am free of illness and pain, let me thank You.

Today while this mind is clear, fill it with Your thoughts.

Today while my life is comfortable, remind me of Your Grace.

Today while I can, please let me be of some service to You.

Please let me hold on to You while I can for I know not what

the next moment may bring. Illness, grief or confusion may cast a

shadow upon my world.

While I can, my Beloved, fix my attention upon You,
