Things to Remember

The One who creates and controls His creation

Permeates all matter and space.

I control nothing.

My spouse, children, relatives and friends are not my possessions.

Their presence in my life is a gift that teaches me the lessons of life.

My wants are very different from my needs.

I wear the mask of my ego. This ego is not the real me.

My judgment of people and things is a concept that my mind has accepted.

My perception may not be close to the true picture.

My view of reality is ever changing and transforming

Through thoughts and experiences.

I am not better than anyone, nor is anyone worse than I.

My salvation is tied with the rest of humanity.

The pain and pleasure of my neighbor affects and influences me

Even if I choose to remain oblivious to it.

I am a mere conduit, who is capable of becoming

an instrument in His Hands.

All I need is His Grace.

Let it be.....let it be.....may His will be done.

Get the message.

I fear that I may lose something.

How can I lose what I never owned in the first place?

My ignorance is appalling!

I have grown to adulthood without any True Knowledge.

I suffer because I am not in harmony with God's Will.

Why should it take lifetimes to dissolve this ego?

I trust in the Universe.

My faith is my salvation.

The One who sustains me, watches over my welfare.

He nourishes and nurtures me, He also teaches and rewards.

All things will perish in time. And so must I and mine.

Each day is a gift, each moment is a miracle,

When I am awake to His Glory.

All I need is His Grace.

My goal is to get out of the way and let the Holy Spirit do the work.
