Unlike other Artists, who on creating a masterpiece imprint their name or logo on some part of their work, You O, Divine artist leave on trace of your identity? While others seek fame and recognition for their talent, you seem to be in a perpetual state of creating endless works of art, both manifest and obscure from the human eyes.
I, the spellbound spectator of your stunning sunsets, spectacular seas, fabulous rainbows and breathtaking scenes, melt in speechless awe and overwhelming gratitude. You deserve applause and an ovation that I am incapable of rendering. I am at complete loss for words and gestures to fence in with words but my heart can’t help feeling overwhelmed with emotion.
How can I see a rose and not wonder from where came such grace and fragrance?
How can I graze at the azure blue dome of twinkling stars and not wonder where you are?
How can these eyes not well up with tears of emotions on sight of your incredible palette of blue, pink and gold scrolled against the setting ball of fire with a faint rainbow teasing in the foreground.
Oh! Such beauty, such grace displayed so effortlessly, lavishly and spontaneously for my eyes to feast upon!
The heart overflows with joy, gratitude, awe, sighs, tears and cries that the mind cannot put to pen.
All I want to do is meet this artist and kiss his hands…. Fall before his feet in total surrender to His magnanimous nature. I call His Name but He hasn’t left a trace... But wait...He has... Yes, He has left his fingerprints and footprints all over the place.
This brings to mind a few lines from the Holy Granth:
“Eh vis sansaar tum dekhde eh har ka roop hai.
Har roop nadree aaeaa”.- Anand Sahib
This creation that you see is a manifestation of the Lord God.
His form is what you see.
“Sabh Gobind hai, sabh Gobinh hai.
Gobind bin naahee Koee”.
All is God,all is God.
Without God There is none.
Lovers inscribe each other’s names on walls, trees, sidewalks, Bridges and tattoos.
Your name is inscribed in invisible ink on every part of your creation. Each animate and inanimate object bears your fingerprints. The Artist is part of His Art. Your works speak so eloquently in a language clearly audible to the soul. Your beauty speaks louder than any voice on instrument. You are indeed appreciating yourself through yourself for my eyes are an extension of you.
Glory be to you who have given me eyes to see. You can no longer remain anonymous- O Divine Artist.
