I didn't know that…

I didn't know that Your Grace is always raining upon me or I would have opened this heart to receive it…

I didn't know that you are dwelling in each and every heart, or I would have used a sweeter tone.

I didn't know that you alone are the Doer, or I would have never struggled.

I didn't know that You are ever present inside me, or I would have jumped for joy.

I didn't know that my limited wisdom was so limited, or I would have depended only on You.

I didn't know that You have been holding my hand all along, or I would have been so carefree.

I didn't know that whatever has transpired so far is exactly what should have happened, or I would have lived in peace.

Had I known this, I may have paid close attention to these words of wisdom:

. Remain untouched.

. All you need is within you, seek outside of the self and repent.

. The Supreme Being is Himself all in all.

. There is only one reality. Everything is contained within this One.

. Seek the Highest One, the Only True Supreme Being.

. Do not be fooled by your eyes.

. Seek His Grace.

What I should, would or could have done is irrelevant, because You are the one who lived this life through me. I did what you willed me to do. How can I comment on what You had in Your mind? How can I say what I could or should have done, when all along I was never there - You were calling all the shots! I still know nothing and do nothing. Let me not forget that You are living within and without this cage of flesh and bone… the only One who knows how and why.

For all my knowing, I remain as ignorant as ever…
