A letter to God

I said a prayer to God. I asked for His guidance and grace in a personal matter and concluded by saying that may His Will seem sweet to me. Having done this I pretended to 'mail' this message to Him. I sealed it with faith, stamped it with love and put the matter out of my mind. Just as when we drop a letter into a mailbox and forget about it, so should we abandon our cares once we address our issues and needs to God. As long as we have the correct address and the right postage, we are quite certain that in time the other party will receive our message. With the same trust I 'mailed' my prayers to God and waited patiently for His reply.
The mailman (my conscience) does its part of delivering the message. This is done instantly because time and distance are deleted when the prayer originates from the depths of sincerity and merges from the human mind into the mind of God. Since my mind is part of God's mind, there can be no interruption of service. If there is any, it is due to the type of prayer or my lack of faith or both.
Such is the Divine mail service system.
If our prayer meets the following criteria, God will receive our request and reply our prayer at the right time: (He alone knows the right time)
The prayer is not a demand.
It does not seek vengeance.
It does not seek credit at the expense of another.
It does not wish harm to another being.
It does not seek self- aggrandizement.
It does not demand a specific outcome.
It asks for His Will to prevail since His Plan is the best one.
When one prays in this manner, one relinquishes all control and places absolute faith in His Hands, while participating in a selfless service with total commitment and devotion.
Such is His Grace. So mail your letter to God in complete faith.
P .S. Don't forget the 'Love' stamp.
